About Austin:
Austin McFadden was a radiant soul—a beam of light in every life he touched. With a heart full of compassion, a lifetime full of talent in music and art, a passion for cars, trucks and motorcycles, and a gift for making others smile, Austin lived with purpose, warmth, and authenticity. On August 12, 2022, his earthly journey was tragically cut short in a motorcycle accident. Though his life ended too soon, the light he carried did not fade—it became a legacy.
That light lives on through Austin’s Sunshine Foundation, born from a mother’s enduring love and unwavering resolve to transform unimaginable grief into purpose. The foundation exists as a lighthouse in the darkness, guiding bereaved parents through the storm of loss with compassion, community, and hope.
We honor Austin by walking with others through the shadows of grief—helping them find steady ground, kindred hearts, and glimpses of light even in their darkest nights. His story reminds us that even in heartbreak, hope still shines.
On July 13, 2020, Austin shared a TikTok that has since become a tender gift of peace to my heart. In that moment, he expressed with such certainty his longing to meet Jesus, and though I could not have known the weight those words would later carry, they now shine as a light in the midst of my darkest days. Watching it reminds me that his faith was strong, his hope was alive, and his heart was ready for a joy beyond this world. That small video has become a beacon—whispering to me that even in loss, love endures, and light still breaks through. My prayer is that it does the same for you, offering a flicker of comfort and reassurance that we are never fully abandoned in our grief.
